Kayak Lessons for the Young at Heart
This is your chance to learn the most dynamic sport on earth- whitewater kayaking! Feel the beauty and grace of paddling a whitewater kayak. This course gets you started with a positive learning experience, with a Wilderness Adventure A.C.A. certified instructor to help alleviate fears and anxieties in a controlled and safe learning environment. The skills taught during this course are imperative to becoming a successful and safe kayaker.
Learn the proper techniques involved in rolling a kayak and the paddle strokes necessary to keep you from tipping over. Included in this basic class are whitewater safety, water reading, river maneuvers, scouting rapids, catching eddies with precision and running rapids.

Students that furnish their own equipment including their kayak will receive a forty-five dollar ($45.00) discount. Personal gear such as booties, gloves and wet suits are students responsibility.
Multi-Day Kayak Lesson/Raft Trip
Why have the family at home during your kayak lesson? We are offering raft supported kayak lessons for those who like to camp on the river.
Rates for this package include kayak lesson of choice and a multi-day rafting rate of $115.00 per person, per day.
